How To Restore with Time Navigator - Version 4.1

Basic Concepts

Restoration can only be performed on a previously backed up file or folder. Therefore, the file tree must be displaying the Past, not the Present.

To restore a file/folder:

Launch the Time Navigator (TiNa) - Restore and Archive Manager
Login using YOUR username and password
Locate the objects you wish to restore using Time Navigation
Within the Date Control menu on the left side of the window, enter a date in the Past your wish to restore from or use the slider to select a timeframe then press View
Check the objects that you wish to restore in the file tree
Navigate to the menu Backup -> Restore

Designate restore settings:

Under the Parameters tab, choose the location where you would like to restore the file/folder. E.g. the same location it was backed up from or a new location
Under the Behavior tab, choose how the file/folder will be restored if there is an error
Once the above settings are complete, press OK to initiate the restore process
A window will appear displaying the progress of the restore
The message "Restore Complete" is displayed when the operation is finished

That's it! The restored file/folder is now ready to be used.
